Because I am offering sessions via my practice, I use personal data. I think your privacy is important. In this privacy statement I tell you how I deal conscientiously with your personal data.
I’m the only one who collect personal data, so that is:

Are you using my services?
Then I’m asking for your personal data. I do that via email, a personal conversation or by phone.
I use the following categories of personal data:
- Name, address, city
- Contact data like an email address and phone number
- Birth date
- Notes of our conversations
- Contents of our conversations
I use these personal data because of various reasons, like:
- Keeping in touch in necessary
- Administration, like planning an appointment
- Collecting the bills and –only if necessary- enabling a collection agency
- Compliance with legal obligations
I don’t give personal data to third parties, unless it’s legally obligatory
Yet if you don’t pay your session in time, I’ll give your name, address, city and contact data to a collecting agency. In that case I’ll always inform you first by letter or email.
Your data outside of the EER
The EER is the European Econonical Area, consisting of the countries of the European Union, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland. Third parties outside of the EU can gather your data when we use Facebook or Twitter in our contact. These parties are “EU-US Privacy Shield”certified, so they’ll keep the European privacy legislation.
I keep your personal data for seven years
That’s the time the Taxes asks me to keep them. I keep conversation reports also for seven years.
The data in my computer, are secured with Norton
I use webhosting and email services by VIP Internet in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
Cookies mostly are used to improve online services. Via cookies your IP address and system information of your device are processed. I’m not doing anything with these data. Maybe my webhost, VIP Internet, gathers these data. Anyway, VIP Internet has taken enough actions to prevent abuse and loss of your and my data.
What are your rights?
You have the right asking me to see your personal data. After receiving your request, I’ll send you within one month an overview of your personal data. If appears that some of the data aren’t correct, you can ask me to change these, remove these or shield them.
You can also ask me to transfer your personal data. Or you can object against processing your personal data because of special personal circumstances.
